I didn't miss the deadline this week!
This week's Challenge for the Compendium of Curiosity Vol 2 by Tim Holtz sponsored by Linda at Studio L3 is Faded Layers. Again, out of respect for Tim's intellectual property I will not discuss the actual technique on the blog. You can purchase an autographed copy of the book from Tim's website.
I made two tags using this technique. First the pretty pink butterfly tag with a clock, filmstrip and pen nib.
Then this purple tag with an eclectic look. I hated the colors of the blank tag…so much so I almost threw it out. But one thing I learned through Creative Chemistiry 101 is that often the look of the background tag changes once I added stamping and embellishments so I decided to finish it. Ta Da….I like it…. a lot.
I submitted this one to the challenge. Linda has listed a few items we well need in the near future including metal foil tape, pocket watch, and Tim's tissue paper. I am super excited for the product-type challenges. Stay tuned….
Laters baby…..
