Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2012: June

Tim rocked out an amazing tag for June... full of interesting techniques and lots and lots of ephemera.  I am usually missing  "something" needed for a Tim tag and I have no local source to run out and grab it besides Michael's and Hobby Lobby and lets face it they don't have big selections of Tim's products.  This time however I had most of the stuff so I decided to use make the exact same tag rather than an interoperation. I decided to do this because it gives me practice in using THAT many different pieces of ephemera- something that made me nervous for sure.   Plus I think the tag is stunning.

You can see that I used a lot of Idea-ology products including the Distress Stains and Inks, File Tab (with number "7"),  Mini Numerals "2", Pen Nib, Foliage (leaves), Long Fasterner, Film Strip, Philosophy Tag, Trimmings (the rose), Wire Pins, and a Word Key.  The only thing I didn't have was the Word Band that Tim used; I used the key instead.   I had my own seam binding that I tinted.  Tim has the girl on his blog for download (it's free).
