Changes at Things Crafty

I joined the new art community Things Crafty last summer and have enjoyed getting my feet wet slowly in the community.  It was started by two polymer clay artists, Ilysa and Kira, who started and nurtured a large community among polymer clay artists several years ago.  Wanting to reach more artists and cover more media, Ilysa and Kira conceived of Things Crafty last year.  New artists, like myself, were brought in to add to the variety of media and types of projects that are covered.  


While Things Crafty was conceived to give YOU inspiration and ideas to stretch your creative wings, we too are allowed to grow and explore new media.  Each member of the design team was selected to cover a specific type of art/craft  but we are not held to the media we cover.  That said we each typically post in our topic of expertise.  The design team includes:

Things Crafty is growing with lots of new things planned.  The first, most visible change is the addition of the NING community. Things Crafty NING.  Go sign up and check it out.  I love the layout of the new NING area.  We will be adding lots more content after the hosts get back from CHA.  More tutorials, more videos, more PDFs and more blogging.
