Compendium of Curiosity Final Challenge

I cannot believe it…the Compendium of Curiosity Vol 2 Challenge is complete.  This is our final challenge.  Linda got creative and decided to go out with a bang- make Tim a birthday card using your favorite technique.  Tim's Birthday is the 7th which is the final day for submitting a card.  I've had a blast doing this challenge and it is certainly changed the way I create.  Before I tackled the book, my stamping was pretty much about the stamp image on plain paper.  Never again…now it's all about the fabulous background and the wonderful embellishment.  And much more fun.  So here it is..Tim's Birthday Card.
I had so much fun with the techniques I learned over the last 35 weeks I couldn't pick just ONE technique now could I?  No, I couldn't.
Techniques I used:
Faux Patina (week 2)
Marbled Stains (week 3)
Spritz and Flick (week 13)
Rosettes (week 32)
I stamped the ribbon for the bow like Tim did in his January 12 Tags of 2013 tag.
I want to thank Tim Holtz for writing this amazing guide to inky fun, Linda of Studio L3 for hosting the challenge and her sponsers- Tim and Mario, The Funkie Junkie Boutique and Simon Says Stamp.
I'm addicted to challenges now so if you know of any great ones, send me the info.

If you don't follow Tim's blog you are missing his CHA Sneak Peek..he has some super fun stuff coming out in the next 6 months.  Pop over and check it out…he has shown Idea-ology and Alerterations (Sizzix die cuts) already and will be back Monday with more.
